| HazardEx In The Regions |
06/10/2004 |
 |
To coincide with the launch of the Ultraprobe 2000 (which is ATEX Approved), we will be taking part in a series of table-top displays in conjunction with HazardEx.
As you may already know, HazardEx In The Regions is a series of seminars aimed at those who are involved in the safe and efficient operation of hazardous areas and related equipment. We are planning to exhibit at the following shows...
- 19th of October -- Warrington, at the Village Hotel
- 2nd of November -- Newcastle, at the Holiday Inn
- 16th of November -- Fareham, at the Holiday Inn
- 7th of December -- Leeds, at the Village Hotel
Since many issues associated with these regulations carry such importance with our customers, we feel that these events will greatly help engineers and technicians ahead of the deadline date of July, 2006. Please contact us for more information, or for details on how you can attend.

| Keeping Electrical Switchgear Safe conferences |
01/10/2004 |
 |
Following our table-top display at the Keeping Electrical Switchgear Safe (KESS) conference in Watford, we will be attending two more KESS events this year...
- 3rd of November -- Nottingham, at the The Nottingham Gateway Hotel
- 2nd of December -- Capenhurst, at a venue to be announced
Based on the Health and Safety Executive publication of the same name, these conferences have been organised to help owners and operators of high voltage and low voltage electrical switchgear safely use and maintain this equipment and reduce the risk of accidents.
Please contact us for more information, or for details on how you can attend.

| Introducing the Flir E-25, Flir E-45 and Flir E-65 |
14/06/2004 |
 |
Our brand-new range of Flir E-Series infrared cameras is now available. In conjunction with Flir, we are today announcing the availability of three new models: the Flir E-25, Flir E-45 and Flir E-65. These rugged and highly-portable cameras offer substantially improved image quality over their predecessors, added features and improved software.
Furthermore, since these cameras do not require an export license (unlike previous cameras), we are able to deliver straight from stock. Please contact us for more information, or if you would like to arrange to see one of these cameras.

| Introducing the Ultraprobe 201 Grease Caddy Service Kit |
05/06/2004 |
 |
A Service Kit is now optionally available for the Ultraprobe 201 Grease Caddy. This kit includes two replacement cables, as well as spare covers for both the transducer and switches.
There is now also a holster available, which allows the user to wear the unit on their belt, rather than mount it onto the grease gun itself. If you would like more information on either of these accessories, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

| Introducing the Remote Access Sensor |
01/05/2004 |
 |
The Remote Access Sensor is now available as an optional accessory for the Ultraprobe 9000, and has been designed for those instances where easy access is a problem. It is also available as a magnetically mounted version, and this is included as standard with the Ultraprobe 10,000.
This accessory is particularly useful for enclosed cabinets, or bearings situated in hot or hazardous areas. If you would like some more information on this, then please do not hesitate to contact us.

| Introducing Thermographic Inspection Windows |
04/04/2004 |
 |
The Hawk range of Thermographic Inspection Windows (or "sightglasses", as they are sometimes known) allow infrared energy to pass through, permitting infrared inspections to be carried out quickly and safely, and without the need to defeat safety systems or open panel covers.

| Ultraprobe registered on the Energy Technology List (ETL) |
01/04/2004 |
 |
We are today pleased to announce that our range of Ultraprobes have been accepted onto the Energy Technology List (ETL). To gain approval, the equipment had to meet a very strict set of criteria in terms of design, features and performance (e.g. detect a leak from a 0.4 millimetre diameter hole in a system carrying 7 bar from 20 metres away).
This means that customers who purchase an Ultraprobe (any model) we will be entitled to claim an Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA). This allows the full cost of the investment to be written off against the taxable profits of the period in which the equipment was bought. At the time of writing, the Ultraprobe is the only ultrasonic leak detector on this list.
