All-Safe Pro Connection Boxes

Overview Back to the top...

All-Safe Pro Connection Box The All-Safe Pro Connection Boxes are test panels, which have been designed for quick, easy and, most importantly, safe power quality monitoring and testing of energised motor systems.

This is a permanently installed connection point, which eliminates the need to open up electrical panels when using the ATPOL II. These Connection Boxes are a cost-effective way of testing energised motors while...
  • Offering higher productivity and a safer working environment for you and your colleagues
  • Eliminating the need for the operator to suit up in special protective clothing, or open a panel for placing probes and clamps on energised leads
  • Working seamlessly with the ATPOL II for accurate testing
There are a wide-range of Connection Boxes available, each of which are suited for a variety of different motors and requirements. Installation only takes about an hour or so (using commonly available tools) and all of them are CE, CSA/UL and UL listed.

How does it work? Back to the top...

All-Safe Pro Connection Box In most cases, the All-Safe Pro Connection Boxes are mounted at the Motor Control Centre (MCC) (although they could also be installed at another electrical panel) and interfaces with the ATPOL II by way of a connector (as pictured to the right).

Since safety is absolutely paramount, the output pins on the Connection Boxes are deactivated when it isn't being used, so there is no risk of any exposure to dangerous voltages.

All of the components comply with EC requirements for a rated input of 600 V (Measurement Category III), and for motors or generators above 600 Vrms, the Connection Boxes are connected via current and potential transformers.
