The FLIR T-series infrared cameras are battery powered, featured-packed and highly affordable. These compact and robust thermal imagers (they weigh less than 900 grams) boast a number of new and innovative additions (e.g. a touch screen display, for quick and easy operation) and many evolutionary design upgrades (such as the tiltable lens unit, for surveying in tight spaces).
Similar to some of our other cameras, the FLIR T-series range offers excellent image quality thanks to high-resolution infrared detector, which displays the image on the large and bright 3.5" LCD display.
The images we take are then saved onto a removable SD card as radiometric JPEG files, and we can store up to 1,000 images at any time. We can also save visual images at the same time, using the built-in digital camera.
Using the supplied PC software, which is known as FLIR Tools, we can download these digital and infrared images from the camera, analyse them further and report our findings.
Additional software called FLIR Reporter is also available separately, and integrates directly into Microsoft Word to provide full flexibility over the design and content of our reports.
While the camera's form factor has been radically redesigned to help ensure it is comfortable to use during long inspections, the FLIR T-series maintains the company's high standards of build quality and durability. For example, these cameras are both dust and water splash proof, as well as shock resistant, which enables us to take the camera almost anywhere on-site and use it in practically any field conditions.
