The FLIR T620 and T640 are compact, lightweight and easy-to-use infrared cameras, which represent the very state of the art in handheld thermography.
Both models include a 640 x 480 infrared detector, which allows the camera to take large and sharp infrared images, which include over 300,000 pixels of temperature data, allowing inspectors to easily spot potential problems early with small details showing up great on your PDF reports.
In addition, a high-resolution digital camera is built-in, and can capture crisp visual images for use alongside your infrared images. This camera is suitable for use in a variety of conditions, and a built-in flashlight allows it to be used effectively in dark environments.
The T620 and T640 also incorporate a lot of features, all of which can be accessed via the bright 4.3" touch screen or by using the buttons placed around the screen.
Other features include...
- Advanced measurement functions, such as alarms, automatic hot and cold detection markers, multiple spot meters, etc
- Built-in WiFi for wirelessly transferring images and data to other devices
- Create PDF reports directly on the camera, and copy them to a USB flash stick
- Picture-in-Picture and Thermal Fusion modes, which allow digital and infrared images to be overlaid and blended together
- Record digital and non-radiometric infrared video
- Sketch annotations using the touch-screen
- Sound and visual alarms
- Text and voice annotations
- Tiltable lens unit, for surveying in tight areas
All of the images we take are then saved onto a removable microSD card as radiometric JPEG files, and we can store up to 1,000 images at any time. Using the supplied PC software, which is known as FLIR Tools, we can then download these visual and infrared images from the camera, analyse them further and report out findings in just a few minutes.
Additional software called FLIR Reporter is also available separately, and integrates directly into Microsoft Word to provide full flexibility over the design and content of our reports.
