The Ultraprobe 9000 is a digital ultrasonic inspection system, which is used to locate pressure and vacuum leaks, detect electrical discharge, check valves, test steam traps and monitor bearings.
Whether you're starting up a new maintenance programme, or looking to complement existing technologies such as infrared or vibration, the Ultraprobe 9000 is a good model to consider thanks to its robust build, sensitivity and software connectivity.
Other features include...
- Frequency tuning setting to help reduce background ultrasound
- Interfaces with most vibration analysers, including CSI, DLI, ENTEK and SKF
- Long battery life and quick recharge time
- Store and download inspection data to the PC for trending and reporting
- Upload maintenance routes for route-based inspections
The Ultraprobe 9000 can also be supplied as an Intrinsically Safe kit, which has an ATEX rating of Ex ib IIB T4 Gb. This allows the equipment to be safely used in almost all gas environments, with the exception of acetylene and hydrogen.
In addition, the instrument can store up to 400 readings on its internal memory, and download them at any time via a USB cable to the included PC software.
This software allows users to organise downloaded inspection data, create maintenance routes, trend and analyse bearings, print costed compressed air and nitrogen leak reports, and much more.
