UE Spectralyzer integrates with Ultratrend DMS to transform your PC into a fully functioning Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analyser, and gives you the necessary tools to perform basic spectral analysis on sound files recorded with the Ultraprobe.
A spectrum analyser works by creating an image of the sound file, displaying the amplitude and frequency components of the recorded sound (similar to an oscilloscope, which shows time and amplitude).
Other features of the software include...
- Alarms and dB set-points
- Frequency markers, averaging and spectral weighing (exponential and linear)
- Playback, real-time and record modes
- Sampling rate of 44.1 kHz, with frequency span of up to 1/2 of the selected rate
- Spectral overlays for visual comparisons of 2 to 4 sound files
- Spectrum and time series display modes
Sound files can be opened up in the software through Ultratrend DMS, or imported from a network drive or removable memory card, etc.
