Overview Back to the top...

If you have misplaced your manual, or if you would simply like another copy, then please use the links below to download and save a PDF version (ideal for printing out or e-mailing to a colleague). Alternatively, you are very welcome to contact us and we'll pop one in the post to you as soon as possible.

We also have some information below on servicing and calibration of the Ultraprobe, which you may look at doing every couple of years to help maintain your equipment. Please give us a call at your convenience if this is something you would like to arrange.

You can also download the latest updates available for your software from this page. These updates encompass all previously released patches, and sometimes contain new features (in addition to the usual bug fixes and general improvements).

Please note that the following manuals are kept up-to-date. As such, they may refer to product or software features that have been added or changed since you bought from us.

Servicing and calibration Back to the top...

Servicing and calibration of the Ultraprobe is carried out by the manufacturer. Once the instrument has been returned to them, any minor defects found are fixed. This could include, for example, broken dials, buttons, etc. The battery is also replaced during this inspection, before the instrument is calibrated to ensure it meets the same standards and specifications as it did when it first shipped.

This aspect of the service is quite important because, over time, the instrument's accuracy can drift a little. Appropriate tests are therefore performed across a wide-range of dB levels to make sure that the readings you take are valid.

The turnaround time (from us receiving your unit, to you receiving it back on-site) is usually between ten to fourteen working days. As always, we will endeavour to make you aware of any possible delays and we always push for the quickest possible delivery time.

While there is a set price for the above service, a discount is available to those looking to return a number of units at the same time. Furthermore, we would be pleased to offer you a significantly reduced price for renting a replacement Ultraprobe for the short duration that you will be without yours.
