On-site Ultraprobe training

This training has been designed to familiarise operators with their new Ultraprobe, and covers a wide-range of topics, and can be further tailored as necessary to your specific applications and requirements.

Below is a brief overview of a typical half-day, on-site training session, which we would normally suggest is limited to around four to six people. If you would like to accommodate more people, then we can spend a full day on-site.

The first part of our training is based in the office (e.g. a meeting or training room), and covers the following topics...
  • An introduction to ultrasound, and an overview of the equipment.
  • Leak detection (both pressure and vacuum leaks).
  • Steam trap testing and checking valves.
  • Bearing monitoring and lubrication.
  • Electrical inspections.
The second part is then based out on-plant (or in a workshop, if that's more convenient), and covers how to actually use the equipment in a typical plant environment. We'll spend time using the Ultraprobe on all of your applications, and each attendee will get a good amount of hands-on time.

In the third and final part of our training, we'll return to the office to discuss what happened during our time on-plant and answer any resulting questions. We will then walk you through any accompanying software and review any data we collected. At the very end, we'll wrap things up with a brief look at other technologies that can compliment an ultrasound programme.
