This on-site training has been designed to familiarise operators with their Ultraprobe, and covers a number of basic and intermediate topics, and can be further tailored to your specific applications and requirements.
Below is a brief overview of a typical half-day session, which we would normally suggest is limited to around four to six people so as to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to fully participate.
We can also spend a full day on-site to train additional people, or cover the following content in more detail.
The first part of our training is based in the office (e.g. a meeting or training room), and includes an overview of the technology, bearing monitoring and lubrication, electrical inspections, pressure and vacuum leak detection, steam trap and valve testing, and the basic operation of your instrument.
The second part is then based on-plant (or in a workshop if that is more convenient), which includes extended hands-on with the equipment in a typical plant environment. We'll spend time using the Ultraprobe on all of the relevant applications, and each attendee will have ample opportunities to take readings and ask for advice.
In the third and final part of our training, we'll return to the office to discuss what we covered on-plant and answer any remaining questions. We'll also walk you through any accompanying PC software and review the data that we took. At the very end, we wrap things up with a brief look at how ultrasound can compliment any other technologies that may be used on-site.
