Overview Back to the top...

Level 1 Ultrasound Course

The Level 1 Ultrasound Course has been primarily designed for new users of the Ultraprobe. However, much of the course content is also equally appropriate for both potential purchasers and those who require an in-depth understanding of measurement techniques and their practical applications.

Running in conjunction with UE Training Systems, this comprehensive five-day course covers the theory, principles and practices of ultrasound. The course also conforms to guidelines set by the American Society for Non-destructive Testing (ASNT).

A full agenda for the course can be found below. Topics include inspecting different types of leaks, monitoring mechanical equipment and successfully working in noisy environments. There is also a strong emphasis placed on energy conservation, to help meeting the challenge of rising energy costs.
