Below is a brief overview of a typical half-day training session, which we would normally ask is limited to around four to six people. If you would like to accommodate more people, we can spend a full day on-site, which would allow us to run two of these workshops.
The first part of our training is based in the office (e.g. a meeting or training room, or something similarly suitable), and covers the following...
- An introduction to ultrasound, and an overview of the equipment and how it actually works
- Predictive maintenance troubleshooting applications
- Leak detection (both pressure and vacuum leaks)
- Testing of steam traps and valves
- Bearing monitoring and electrical inspections
The second part is then based out on-plant (or perhaps a workshop, if that is more convenient), and covers how to use the Ultraprobe in a typical plant environment. We will spend this time covering all of your applications, and each attendee will spend some time using the equipment.
In the third and final part of this training, we return to the office to discuss what happened during our time out on-plant. We will then walk you through any accompanying software, before giving a brief presentation which wraps up and promotes the use of ultrasound alongside other technologies (such as infrared and vibration analysis).
