The following video shows a transformer at a substation failing and bursting into flames. The low voltage side of the transformer had shorted, causing an arc that ate away at the steel transformer case.
The mineral oil inside then started to boil (as a result of the heat), gushing out from the sides and causing the subsequent explosion. Firefighters were reportedly positioned on a nearby hill, but could not attempt to put out the fire since it was still energised.
